Money Issue

On and off for over twenty years I have self published footballzine. Most of the time it comes in the triangular form of a paper football (and thus its name). It started as my response to midwestern boredom. I had listings of underground music and house show schedules, inspirational quotes, and my own random things to do lists. Over time the content became less specific to Kansas City and applicable to the larger world.

The money issue is out this month! I “bill-folded” an 11x17 double-sided print into a rectangle with a pull tab that is the classic footballzine shape. (my fingers and wrists are still aching a bit from all the folding;) Here is a preview of all the content….

I reposted this AI quote in notes last week and I am still shook. Not that AI can be so poetic but that our language and arts often reflect so much more than simple mirrors and tend to provoke what is hidden within our humanity.

I was tempted to write a scathing critique of capitalism and current US politics but instead felt like I needed this reminder for myself.

As my theology has grown over the years, the way, the truth and the life has become more about the complex and dynamic present than some afterlife escape fantasy.

You better believe that I have recommendations and at least a handful of tricks up my sleeve… but only to be shared in real life.
